    About the Role

    🔍 About the Role

    As a Clinical Project Manager within the SSO (Study & Site Operations) team, you will be accountable for the end-to-end operational execution of assigned Global Drug Development (GDD) studies — from site initiation to close-out — ensuring compliance with Novartis processes and regulatory requirements.

    You will serve as the single point of contact and study team lead within your country/cluster/hub, collaborating closely with global and local stakeholders to ensure aligned communication, timely delivery, and high-quality execution.

    🎯 Major Accountabilities

    • Study Planning & Execution: Lead local study teams and support the development of execution plans and timelines.
    • Operational Oversight: Drive study conduct, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure recruitment targets are met.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between global teams, CRAs, and local stakeholders.
    • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GCP, SOPs, and regulatory standards while supporting inspection readiness.
    • Training & Communication: Provide operational guidance and training to CRAs and site staff.
    • Budget & Documentation: Track study budgets, contracts, and essential documents to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

    • Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex clinical studies and resolve operational challenges.
    • Regulatory & Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GCP/ICH, FDA/EMA, and local health authority regulations.
    • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment.
    • Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and resolving issues constructively.
    • Analytical Thinking: Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong decision-making capabilities.
    • Accountability: Takes ownership and drives results with urgency.
    • Adaptability: Comfortable with change and able to pivot quickly.
    • Team Leadership: Inspires collaboration and shared ownership.
    • Integrity & Ethics: Committed to ethical standards and patient safety.

    • English: Required (fluent/proficient)
