Exciting opportunity ahead! Novartis, a global healthcare leader, is on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-orientated individual to join our team in the pivotal role of Demand Planner. This is a 12-month contract where you'll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our AU and NZ operations.

About the Role

  • Conducting ongoing demand planning activities that are customised to meet our operational strategies while ensuring cost-efficiency.
  • Leveraging your expert forecasting skills to positively influence our planning and inventory management processes.
  • Leading and delivering pivotal projects targeted at improving our forecasting, planning, and inventory management procedures.
  • Interpreting and responding to global, regional and CPO supply chain directives, translating them into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stock availability, prevent stock-outs, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Presenting regular updates and reports to senior management, providing insights into demand trends, inventory levels, and potential challenges.
  • Contributing to the development of annual and quarterly forecasts, using historical data, market trends, and strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional understanding of demand planning, have a proven track record of successful project leadership, and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills. You should also have a collaborative work ethic, capable of interacting with various stakeholders and cross-functional groups.
